Film Photography
For us, analogue is a true snapshot of time - not edited or re-taken, something that tells a story and creates timeless photographs to treasure. We will provide you with digital copies and the negatives to hold forever - a tangible imprint of your wedding day - and a selection of full colour or black-and-white prints.
35mm is where its all started and this is the camera that we will use most throughout the entirety of your day. Using Canon and Minolta cameras they are loaded with a roll of film containing 36 frames to capture those special moments. Both cameras are fully manual allowing us to create a fine art element in each image.
We also shoot on Medium Format. The negatives from the 120 film are larger than 35mm giving a better quality image, each roll of film creates 16 images. Hollie uses this camera during the main events of the day. The camera she uses is the Fuji 6x45 professional. We normally ask which film you would prefer us to use within this camera. Either black and white or colour to keep the style consistent.
We come from a fine art background, which will always shine through in our work. We are artists coming to create. Through the use of manual cameras, we can control how each shot is created, creating unique photographs that complete the story of your day.
Here are some of our favourite moments on 35mm film.
